Kepler-186f

Kepler-186f

Earth like Planet

How close does this image look, granted its a comparison with the current evidence that the Kepler Space telescope has been able to provide from the Cygnus constellation.

Kepler-186f is about 500 light years away from earth which translates to 2,939,312,686,591,804 miles, seems like quite a long distance to cover so why on earth would we go there you ask? 10% bigger than earth, This is in the Goldie locks zone the distance just far enough away from the sun to not evaporate water and not so far away as it might freeze providing us with what could be liquid water, these essential building block of life.

Scientists have been focused on planets that fall within the goldie locks zone in which we have the best chance to sustain ourselves on other worlds, in order to reach forth unto the stars we need to ensure we have a plan and right now that map is being put together and one day someone somewhere hopefully in the future long after were gone will one day stand on the very worlds we have found through maps we first created.

We will be journeying through the cosmos in both reality and dreamt up worlds in order to spark and inspire imagination.

To leave you with a thought, Just think, one day someone will be coming to and from Kepler-186f going to work, to them that trip will be a chore, Imagine.......
